Welcome to the
Pulaski Conservation District
Conversation in the DistrictThe purpose of this site is to introduce you to the district's Board of Directors,
district staff, and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service employees who provide technical
assistance to help and assist Pulaski County and the State of Arkansas' conservation needs. Our site is directed toward
hard-working landowners, farmers, teachers and students
of all ages, assisting, motivating and influencing conservation as
a way of life. Throughout our site,
we give a brief explanation of available district programs, descriptions of local conservation activities, educational tools
for teachers, students, and several links to our conservation partners. For any specific questions about the Pulaski Conservation District, you can contact
us by phone, email, or by visiting our central office.

Conservation Defined:
It is the act of preserving and restoring our wildlife and natural resources from the state of loss, damage or deterioration. Since the beginning of humanity, mankind has
been highly concerned about their environment and their ability to provide food, water and other resources for themselves.
With our large population and our newest inventions utilized through universal technologies, we as a people should make sure that we
stay aware of the impact we have on our environment. We must decide that we will conserve our planet so that our kids
and our grandchildren can have a place to call their home. If we don't make the
choice, who will make that choice?
Conservation is a way of life!!!
